Eh? When exactly did I say I behave like an obnoxious tw*t in my dealings with customers? I recall one thread where I said exactly the opposite Sean... (?)

Lately you seem to be attributing bizarre things to me that I haven't said, have I offended you in some way?

Sorry but I do find JR incredibly smug. A review of a veggie restaurant that turned into a patronising critique of vegetarians particularly annoyed me.

Was a good day got to big it up for Lambeth council lot's of seating area, bins, loos and helping bod's spoke to one of the food vendors it cost him ?1800.00 quid for the two day's pich.

SMG you walked right past me in the food tent not even a good day turned round to speak and you were gone ( what have I done ?)

Not to worry Bob s. Sean's a Bumpkin from the arse end of Ireland so he was probably caught up in the whole atmosphere of the event abeit punctuated by terrifying flashbacks to the barbaric treatment at the hands of the Christian brotherhood school teachers. That might explain why he may or may not have been crying at some point during the event.

Oh, he was stood in front of a sign that read 'Jews are rubbish' or something to that effect and largely being ignored (I'm being serious)

I like Jay Rayner, for the record.

Ahh.. I walked by Neil Horan in the company of MrBen and we both did a double take.

he is also the "cover star" of the book below which is consistently funny and scary in equal measure - seek it out, I urge you (Admin stole my copy)

    • The problem with delivery people nowadays is that they are on such a restrictive schedule that they literally have to just try to deliver and run, otherwise they are penalised. I understand the frustration though.   And good luck making any kind of complaint to Evri. I once sold a laptop on ebay, took it to the Evri pick-up, where it was processed and it then went 'missing' between their pick-up place and the hub. Went through a long, long process where they offered me a desultory amount in compensation and I had to take them to small claims court before they came up with a fair offer the day before we were due to be in court. Long story short, Evri are shite.   Go to look at this forum for the number of people who have issues: https://nationalconsumerservice.co.uk/forum/183-postal-and-delivery-services/
    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.
    • Sorry if I’m being slow but there’s no point in having a gate then is there?  Would have thought it was basic manners to respect someone’s property
    • I didn't say wedge it "slightly" open. I meant to wedge it fully open.
