I think it's ?2 for under 1, but once over 1 it appears to be ?6.45, although I am sure a 13 month old could sneak in for the ?2 price. My 10 month old daughter loves it - there is a mini sandpit, the carousel, the ball pool and she also likes the book corner with the bean bags - lots of space to crawl

Really lovely to have seen some of you ladies at the 1 o'clock club this morning. Molly & Fuschia, nice to have seen you again, and great to put a face to a name Curlykaren! Given I've already seen you again today I think we'll find we've been doing the same "circuit" for months :)

We're signed up for a Little Bubbles summer class on Friday morning so won't make it to the Horniman, but the show sounds interesting so will probably head up there for the afternoon instead. Have fun!

Everyone is welcome to come along Vicky. Lots to do and a padded, pillowed baby area off limits to older ones that your 9 week old could lay around in.

I wonder if I saw you too Pickle?! I was there from 9.45 until 11.45, have two girls... Perhaps next time. I feel as though the EDF is a taboo subject in public!

I've got a boy and a girl (although boy was off doing his own thing so wasn't really near me very often). Girl is small, just about walking, was racing about slightly out of control pushing a little trolley (wearing a blue dress over jeans) so quite possible that she bashed your ankles or knocked over one of your children during our visit :-$
Pickle, candj, I'm afraid that I never got there after all - the thing that prevented me getting there at the time I said I would also prevented me getting there at all. I ended up at the Horniman Triangle instead. Just put it down to incompetence.

Crikey Citizen, is the thing that prevented you from getting to the play group the same thing that prevented you from going to sleep at a not so un-Godly hour??

Vicky, sorry realised I didn't post dates - but during the summer it runs Monday, Wednesday, Fridays 9am until noon and again in the afternoon. I think during term times it's only in the afternoons (I'll check when next there and reconfirm).

Pickle, Fuschia - do we wear big hats? Have a funny handshake? Are daffodils in season now? Meet by the sand table at a certain time? I'll be there next Wednesday.

oooo, pickle you lucky lady. Aj and I are in wales at the moment so won't see any of you for a while, just had to check the forum to see if heidihi has had her baby yet...she better let us all know when it happens!!

love to all, karen and AJ x

Sorry, we were away until today! Is next week the last week before school starts? We will definitely be there next Wednesday. I'll be the one with two girls winding each other up and driving me crazy. Perhaps, I'll wear bunny ears or something. ;)

    • I had a leaky toilet cistern and Niko came out the same day and not only fixed the leak but thoroughly cleaned off the years of calcium build-up. His attention to detail was matched by his kind humanity. The result was a completely renovated toilet which has never worked more efficiently as well as 'service with a smile'. MANY THANKS NIKO!!!
    • I am trying to find out about people's experiences of the 4+ and 7+ assessments. I am a teacher and have a wealth of experience tutoring for theses assessments (including my own son), but it's always good to keep on top of things as they always make tweaks to them. TIA!

    • "You have no idea why"   To be fair Sue, it's blindingly obvious to anyone who has a conversation with anyone who isn't a Corbyn supporter. And even some who liked Corbyn (like me initially) found him somewhat flaky even at his most popular But let's say you are right and I have NO idea why anybody might not vote for him. They still didn't vote for him. He lost two elections. The second one badly (and strongly predicted but the stubborn old goat wouldn't budge so we we were stuck with Johnson and another 3 million PMs in the 5 years that followed) So even with ZERO evidence, we have our eyes and ears and brains But we do have evidence   https://yougov.co.uk/politics/articles/27022-their-own-words-why-voters-abandoned-labour
