Internet cafes on LL

Hello!

I'm moving to East Dulwich on Saturday and won't have internet for a couple of weeks until our phone line is activated. Are there any internet cafes on LL? And does anyone know what sort of rates they charge?

There's one in the video shop but it's pretty expensive, best off joining the Library.

I seem to remember thinking that the one in the video store is a bit pricy for everyday use. Dulwich library is free but it's not the fastest connection.

Try Peckham there are cheaper ones there, about a quid an hour, unlike the very expensive lot in the vid shop. The library will give you an hour a day I believe.

Have you got a laptop with WiFi?

A few of the pubs have WiFi, The Mag certainly does.

Green and Blue, Black Cherry and EDT also have free wi-fi. Problem with the library is actually getting a machine and as noted by another poster they seriously limit your time.

I remember the library computers very being very frustrating. Really slow & time runs out quick. I actually don't think the video shop is pricey; You get a lot of time, perhaps too much time.

Last time I tried the library (end of June) the entire Southwark Library Network was down and had been for several weeks - however it might be worth trying again.

The video shop is not bad as internet cafes go.

Hey, anyone know if there are now more cafes around these parts with free wifi than this... does blue mountain have wi fi yet?

Haggis - I'm one of the owners of Green & Blue - we have free wifi and lots of our tables are next to power points so that you can plug in and don't run out of battery! We also have coffee, pastries, juice, breakfast............. Currently three people here inc me working on laptops and drinking coffee - come in and try us?!
