I can see it working Woof but I personally would never use it because I think that these silly tag/straplines are for silly billy's and I'm not silly billy.

I'm a bit of a dickhead at times but that's still no excuse for me to advertise my underlaying 'dark side' in such an arsehole-ish manner.

Imagine if we found the most unusual thing in the most unusual place, so like if Helium came out of your girlfriends nipples one night . What a bizarre effect that would cause after nuzzling around there a while & just as the real action starts you say "Oh baby I'm so hot for you I'm gonna f....." in Vern from big brothers voice.

Would that be a turn on or what?

Off topic yes!

But there is a place in your head , No?

OKAY

W**F

That's reminded me of an incident that should have really gone in the 'rott off' thread, any way, ex b/f and i were 'in the act' and he said ' im really sorry but ive got to pass wind' so he slowed down and he passed wind, my reaction was to laugh which made me then pass wind . Serves him right. He was freaked out by the experience and i thought it was the funniest thing ever

If nothing else, at least I now know who flapjackdavey really is

But Portishead are ace and the last album was even acer. And anyone thinks they have 2 songs - I defy anyone who listened to the first album at dinner parties a la This Life to do the same with the last album...

    • No one is arguing that people should cycle without lights or reflectors. Obviously they should. It is also a legal requirement. But the colour of someone’s clothing? Is it ok to wear navy? What about green? What shade? At what point should we have ‘no reason for sympathy’ if they’re in a collision? I don’t want people to feel like they need special clothes just to walk or cycle. If you have lights and reflectors and you’re on well lit city streets, there is no reason why drivers shouldn’t be able to see you, assuming of course, that they're driving with due care and attention. But yes, if there are lots of people without lights, that should be addressed. I suspect in part, it's the change over in seasons and the fact that people are getting caught out by how early it's getting dark now (obviously no excuse).

    • What a passionate thread this is. I have worked in cycling for years, am a cyclist, a driver, use public transport etc. Driving last night with my two young kids, who also cycle, we made the same observations. It was the kids who first asked me why are most cyclists wearing full black and no lights. We then played a game who can spot all the cyclists, and count those with lights and those without. This teaches them to look out for them but also not to put themselves in a position where we have to strain to find them.
