B&B for BarryMum?

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good B&B, suitable for my mum to stay in on a visit?

Obviously, the closer to Barry Road/Whately road the better :-)

Mate there have been threads about this, slim pickings I'm afraid! The Uplands does, or did, but there have been mixed reviews...

My parents stayed at the Shepherd's B&B last summer and found it completely horrible. The owners were really unfriendly. I've heard through the grapevine that its since closed and they've moved to India or something.

One of the other threads mentions the sally army place by Denmark Hill doing nice accomodation pretty cheap....
