you will never know till you try, Baked Beans lots of brown sauce and loads of black pepper try it and let us all know what you think,

I knew some extremely well off people about ten years back who shopped in Lidl, in particular (at that time) for the parmesan.

My reaction was "Lidl?!?!?!?!"

But when I actually went there, I could see why.

Though TBH if I had that amount of money I wouldn't go out of my way to shop there, however good value the parmesan was :))

I shop at the Lidl in Peckham with a shopping trolley.

The Co-Op in Lordship Lane doesn't have a car park, does it?

Yes, they may well buy weekend shopping Bread, Milk, Meat . ??

But a weekly shop where you buy Food for the family for the whole week, Washing powder, Toilet rolls,

Kitchen towels, Bleach .. wine, cases of beer. and much more you are likely to need to take the car.

Yes, that's right (bit more than 35 years ago 1980 though.) but this thread is about a Lidl in E.D.

There is no space for one with a car park.

    • Second time that Leon has come to the rescue . He was here within 2 hours -- ok he was working locally but he didn't have to fit me in .Shows what he's like ,he'll try and get to you asap .And he carries a number of commonly used parts and doesn't have to go off and get them . (You might think that this isn't deserving of comment ,but believe me it is ! ) Great guy ,100% recommend .
    • Hi all,   Does anyone have a two or three person tent they no longer want or need? As compact as possible would be ideal in order to carry in a bag/on a bike. Many thanks Joe
    • Today between approximately 3:30 and 4:00 PM, someone entered the back door of an estate agency and stole items from the kitchen, including a microwave and kettle. The individual then proceeded to trash the kitchen before leaving. This happened near Shawbury/Lordship Lane. If anyone saw a man carrying these items or acting suspiciously in the area around that time, please report it to the authorities and let me know. if anyone has access to cameras located near the area, your help would be appreciated.  Let’s help keep our community safe.
    • Well, that makes me feel better about my presently chaotic "office" (aka dumping ground for random stuff 😀) I do use it for an office as well though. That's what I'm supposed to be doing now, instead of mindlessly scrolling on my phone 😭
