Is it just packets that you are not getting or your normal post as well? We're on Dunstans Road and have had about 2 letters and one packet in the last few weeks! It's so frustrating as I'm waiting for all my Open University registration forms which they sent three weeks ago. Argghhhhhh!!!
The post is absolutely diabolical at the moment. We're getting about two deliveries a week and post that should have arrived about 10 days ago still hasn't arrived. I'm particularly concerned about tickets for a US trip beginning on 4 October which seem to be caught up in the backlog - they should have arrived by last weekend and I need to register online for travel authorisation with the US authorities a few days before I leave.

I have been to the sorting office today to find out if 2 packets are there.

I was told that all the parcel/packet sorting was being done at SE1 and would be delivered by "white vans"

hopefully by this weekend.

Strangely, much emphasis was placed on hopefully and white vans!

Is it me or has our Postal System become a complete farce. I have got two Amazon parcels that I have been waiting for, for nearly a month now. I no longer buy first class stamps because I feel that is paying extra for a service that you don't actually get. If this were any other service there would be uproar, Where's OUR stuff Royal Mail?

I have been waiting over a month for parcels, each time i go to the East Dulwich sorting office they state the same thing, 'they don't have any parcels at that sorting office'.

In total i am waiting for over 20 items and have waited over a month

On Friern Road we have not got any parcels in over a week or maybe more.

So where are they? if not there?

This is taking the p...

    • You literally just edited your earlier reply to remove the point you made about it being “politicians”.  Then you call me pathetic.    I’m  not trying to say you approve any of the ugly right wing nonsense.  But I AM Saying your earlier post suggesting  violent rhetoric being “left wing” was one-sided and incorrect
    • I never said that. Saying I don’t like some of the rhetoric coming from the left doesn’t mean I approve of Farage et al saying that Afghans being brought here to protect their lives and thank them for their service means there is an incalculable threat to women.    Anything to score a cheap point. It’s pretty pathetic.
    • To be fair we are as hosed as the majority of other countries post-Covid. The problem is Labour promised way too much and leant in on the we need change and we will deliver it and it was clear to anyone with a modicum of sense that no change was going to happen quickly and actually taking the reigns may have been a massive poison- chalice. As Labour are finding to their cost - there are no easy answers.  A wealth tax seems straightforward but look how Labour have U-turned on elements of non-dom - why? Because the super rich started leaving the country in their droves and whilst we all may want them to pay more tax they already pay a big chunk already and the government saw there was a problem.
    • You don’t think there are right-wing politicians fanning this with rhetoric? Really?
