fairport
You can't beat the plough cafe for good value. Wicked bubble too! KidKruger
Would recommend for a decent dinner for two at (both in crystal palace):Joanna'sNumidie Bistro Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7519-recommendations-for-a-sexy-eatery-nearby-for-a-birthday-lunch/page/2/#findComment-238157 Share on other sites
Ladygooner
I went to Locale on saturday night for the first time and was very impressed. French waiter very attentive and if I am not mistaken the prices have been reduced since they first opened? In any case both pizza and pasta dishes were devoured and the chocolate fondant pudding was to die for! Bellenden Belle
I agree with KidKruger ....Joanna's in Crystal Palace is fabulous with an old fashioned sexiness to it that means the ten minute cab back to East Dulwich is just perfect. KidKruger
Yes I find Joanna's and Numidie both perfect for a build-up to the sexyness alluded to in the title of this thread.Nothing in ED compares unfortunately if we're talking solely about what the venue itself offers to that motive. annaj
I haven't been to Joanna's for years, so maybe it's changed, but isn't it quite family friendly at lunchtime? I'm not sure that being surrounded by families and children is quite the sexy, intimate lunchtime atmosphere the OP seems to be looking for! Jah Lush
Joanna's is OK but I'd hardly call it sexy. I'd suggest Sheekeys in St Martin's Place which is a favourite of mine.J Sheekey's Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7519-recommendations-for-a-sexy-eatery-nearby-for-a-birthday-lunch/page/2/#findComment-238740 Share on other sites
