Pixellating screens with Virgin cable? (near to Goodrich School)

Do you have this problem, especially if you are near to Goodrich School? I have had the Virgin men around to try to fix it, but they say when they check the signal at the box some 20yds from my house, all is fine. The connections, box and cables are all in working order they say. Both my next-door neighbours have problems with screen freezing, so I am wondering whether this is a common problem in these parts.

I'm the other side of Barry Road. I used to have this problem and also the syncronisation between the picture and sound I then insisted on a new box - as I still had the old NTL type box - problem has never recurred.

I'm in Ryedale so quite near. I've not had any problems.

We're on the corner of Dunstans with Goodrich School and we're fine.

It could be a number of things including

1. Low power signal from the cabinet

2. Faulty box or even an old box

3. Depending on what TV you have, the box my be having trouble upscaling if you have a large HDTV

We are very close to you and the problem started in the way you describe until the picture would simply disappear. We demanded a new box from Virgin and we've had a much better reception ever since.
