"Greenpeace charity" collector on Crawthew Grove tonight

Did anybody else have someone claiming to be collecting for Greenpeace around 7pm tonight? I didn't open the door, but they didn't sound like your average chugger and I got the feeling they may have been a scammer or checking which houses were unoccupied.

Would appreciate any replies if they were in the area and if it was just me that felt they were dodgy.

Might be an idea to call Greenpeace, to put your mind at rest...they'd be able to confirm if there were canvassers.

He knocked on our door and seemed legit to me. We talked for a bit about Shell.

As there are still a few older residents on this street, I was a bit concerned.

She knocked on ours around 7.45 and I think she had an ID although I didn't check it. I was in the middle of settling our little one but she'd knocked pretty insistently twice so I went down to speak to her with storybook in hand. Probably legit but the wrong time of day to be intruding in my view.

Absolutely, most people are cooking, eating, or resting at that time. I think its well out of order knocking on people's doors for any form of charity or sales, quite frankly.
