House on Peckham Rye

Lots going on at 'The Elms', the house on the corner of the Rye. Anyone know if it is going to be anything interesting.

The way things are going on, Mott The Hoople might be doing a warm-up gig there, before their five night stint at the Hammersmith Apollo in October.

I mean, f@ck my old boots they're doing one in Wales, so it seems anything goes.

I just read the above and realised it might seem a bit, well, Welshist. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Some of my best friends have had vague acquaintanships with people from Cardiff.

And not just the ones on the docks before you ask.

I know about the Manic Street Preacers as well.

The Intense Humming Of Evil, that was one of theirs. Lyrics by the late Ritchie Edwards.

Not really a 'let's all get round the old joanna and have a sing-song' sort of lyricist, was he Ritchie?

Still it made him happy, so let's not judge.

Does someone actually live there?

I know there was a faily living in the house in Nunhed Cemetery a while ago. What a fabulous place to live!
