Atila Reincarnate
I remember the place vividly as I was a member from 77 to 89. Great place, no longer in existence, was sold by the owner to property developers a few years back. GSJ57
Yep - I was a member too from 77 to 83 - was it a tenner for the year? Had some great times in that place. Jah Lush
I used to have a flat around the corner in Guernsey Grove in the early 80s. Strangely enough I think I only ever went in once or twice. Wasn't really my cup of tea. I can remember quite a few fights outside though. girl gang
the good days always seem to be taken from us, its a shame the old place has gone now,but the memories will stay, we can look back and tell our grand children what great times we had and the friends we had. Keef
I believe one of the doormen drinks in the Clock House.Don't know if it's the same guy, but one of them drinks regularly in the CPT at about 10 every night. Jah Lush
Indeed they were Atila and living just around the corner from all that is why I never found the place quite so appealing as others who came from far and wide to get in there. It was basically an old fashioned pulling joint for the Friday and Saturday niters. jumpinjackflash
every Wednesday night in '97-'98 - (i think). I was around 16/17 - yes underage but wasn't everyone! Loved it there! Would round the night off with a doner and chips from Yilmaz on Lordship Lane. I'm a lot classier nowadays... GSJ57
Yes - Frog and Nightgown and the Dun Cow were regular haunts for me. Don't remember any fights at Bon Bonne when I was going there, it was usually pretty tame. DrDom
92-94 must have been 'vintage years' then. Probably something to do with the 2-1 girl boy ratio and the fact everyone knew each other!!
