If Admin were minded to allocate some web space to the task, some forumites might take it upon themselves to maintain the website with information of general interest concerning East Dulwich. For example: useful local numbers, emergency services, ED history, photo galleries, frequently asked questions and so on.

On the other hand, would Admin mind if someone were to mine the forum's archives for an independent website?

I would be cautious about introducing a local history section.

It's only a minority interest.

It might add a spurious air of authenticity. There are many local history posts which have been mis-informed, mis-remembered, or michievious.

I'm still waiting for someone to post about Caesar's Camp near Dawson Heights.
