We went a couple of years ago with a just three year old and just 1 year old. The three year old was completely entranced and still talks about Daddy nearly catching the spaghetti that the clown was throwing. Even the little one was pretty into it. We're going again this year and they can't wait. Your's will love it, just be prepared for plenty of tightrope walking on the back of the sofa afterwards

We've been twice, first time my son was only about 8 months old and loved it! Second time he was about 19 months, daughter 2 months, and once again they were enthralled. Son noticed the posters the other day and recognised that it was the circus again, so we've booked our tickets and he's very excited (as am I, have my hopes pinned on the fact that the gorgeous man who flies around the big top holding onto bits of fabric doing amazing things with those fantastic arm muscles will be there again.... ;-) )

There's a decent break in the middle, so it's manageable for small children. I recommend it, great fun.

BeccaL - it has to be done and be sure to buy your little one one of the light-up toys they sell as you go in so she can wave it around when they switch the lights off at the beginning. My bigger girls are 8 & 5 and we have been the last two years running - they were ecstatic when they saw this year's posters. Have just booked using the code Mellors recommended - fab thanks.

Norman (the Ringmaster) and his budgies can be a bit dull but there are usually some excellent acrobatics and fun slapstick.

Enjoy.

    • Not so fast @malumbu. This is not a nothing to see here moment (and for some of us on the forum it is local as her house is in Dulwich)- the BBC explain why, have a read: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgkvd3jg2no Southwark's role in this will be key - did they alert her, will they fine her (as they have done with other private landlords), was it someone in Southwark who leaked it? This government came in on a ticket of integrity and this type of thing is very damaging to that message - especially in light of other similar issues Starmer's front-bench has had - it cannot be one rule for them and one rule for us. @Dulwichway you know you're in political trouble when videos like that appear within hours of a story breaking.....and goes viral.
    • The limit is supposed to be 25 per day.  Have you made that amount today?
    • 🤣 Well, I can apparently  "react" provided I take up a whole other post to do it. I wonder when "today" ends, and what is my daily quota of "reactions"?
