"Like my friends' "friend" he's got a lovely BMW and another friends' has a Porsche, top-of-the-range, don't cha know...they both say neither of these 20-somethings have ever done a days work in their lives but often have to go out late at night after receiving a phone call..."

Just so you know, Tony's basically insinuating that this 'friend of a friend' is dealing in class A drugs. I also went to the trouble of removing that stupid emoticon that wears sunglasses in the majority of Tony's posts.

No! Really??? Is that why so many of some of the young Ladies "friends" have super-duper motors and have never even been a White Van driver for a day?

I thought they all came from The Aristocracy and didn't need to work!

...but the late night phone calls...and the comment ( only last week) to a friend "Are you going to give me the money instead" when he didn't come round to her yard at 1.00AM as arranged for a "booty call"( because he had to go somewhere), and she was "pissed" with him, accordingly, DOES make sense, I must admit...

Poor girl was frustrated as she had plans for him to stay the night...still "business is business"....

    • I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened,  which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just  have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure  was an unavoidable one off ....
    • Nope. I don’t have this wrong. I’ve tried to put my point across respectfully, without resorting to personal, angry insults. And all my colleagues agree that the BBC got this right in its condemnation.    All you see is confirmation bias.    If you don’t realise that, then you’re part of the problem.
    • We have always gone during the week at lunch time - great place and good value. Husband has been several times on his own and owner knows his first name. I could not go one time for some reason and she sent him home with some spring rolls (free)
