MrKatsu is really up for meeting up with other ED Dads. But is it with kids or without? He has no preference for weekend or weekday evening but it might be a good idea to alternate?

He can spend as much time in the pub as he likes as long as he takes MiniKatsu (7 months)! (I'll let him off if it is an evening thing)

perfect I am in!! venue?? I like the clock house because its 8 seconds frm where i live but wouldn't mind walking anywhere in dulwich as long as they have a good ale!!

do we all where a flower in our lapels or something to signal we are EDD's? since I have never met anyone on here for real??!!

You new dads will regret inviting anyone with a child over six months - we all think we're experts!

May I suggest Tuesdays at the CPT? There'll be champions league football on most weeks so, you know, it's not just men meeting up to talk about babies which is a bit, you know, well you know. I'm not that interested in the football, it could just be an ice-breaker. That's all.

I wouldn't ever make a weekend date because as someone says that's generally for family stuff but if you were to say every second Tuesday in the CPT I reckon I'd be in.

Okay, who is up for next Tuesday CPT, 7:30/8ish?

We can see who rocks up, have a chat about football and children, and how I never get to relax in front of Football Focus on a Saturday anymore (Grrr!!!). If it works out, then maybe we can look at a getting together with kids thing at a weekend...

OK, I will try and come - momney is tight however cos we are off on hols on Friday 18th. Will try and keep a few sheckels back from the weekend.

Re the above though - it's true - Sunday morning MOTD is the bomb! It is essential viewing for me and Jack on Mummy's lie in day.

Also true is the fact that any father with a child of over 6 months thinks they know the be all and end all of fatherhood! :)

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research. If you work in a UK secondary school and would be willing to share your perspective, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you. Please comment below or email me [email protected] Thank you for the vital work you do. Best wishes, Emma
