The Painter's Place

Hi

Does anyone know where "The Painter's Place" is? The paint shop on Rye Lane has now closed down but the last time I was in there I saw an advert for this place, which was due to open in May somewhere in SE15. I haven't been able to locate it since and they don't seem to have a website.

Would like to buy some emulsion without having to go to B&Q.....

I used to get paint from the shop on Rye Lane till it closed.

But I only just recently discovered that Dulwich DIY (on LL) mixes paints as well.

Also try eco paint now at Karavan for a good alternative, but if you want the old type in bulk professional paint place on Queens Rd

There is a super painter and decorators type trade shop on Norwood High Street (opposite Woolworths) next to the cemetary. They sell Farrow and Ball, William Morris and David Olivers Paint Library range (which I previously had to go to Islington for), they also sell Leyland paints - which our painter and decorator (now retired) swore by. They are incredibly helpful and always give discounts.

The DIY shop opposite East Dulwich station has a big selection, loads of colours to chose from

There's also Plough Homecraft near the Dulwich Library on Lordship Lane.

The best place for all things paint is Whites Trade Centre on 42 -44 Brockley Rise. All the usual suspects including F & B but at least half F & B Fulham road prices, not sure if they're open on Saturdays.
