The whole project is doomed. It's slightly interesting but very few of the traders I have seen interviwed are on board

But dear GOD, the sheer predictability of TLS not contributing to the topic at hand but just warning about Brixton generally is crushing

There are quite a lot of local curency and time bank schemes around which are a good way of trying to get economic growth outside of the top heavy licenced money printing scams of National currencies. They all have problems such as forgery and unenforceabilty issues but can be quite succesful. I forget what the biggest one is called, but it does help generate local businesses.

Whats equally crushing and utterly predictable is that the ONLY time a Member of EDF's Inner Circle deign to engage avec moi is to sneer/belittle/take the pis or generally criticise.

In fact I'm struggling to remember the last time any of this (admittedly small) motley crew did otherwise, but please don't expect me to take any notice of anyone who is bad-minded andwill ONLY contribute on this basis as their credibility and impartiality rating, from me, is Zero.:))

    • Seconded. Called this morning after reading this recommendation. He sent Andy round who diagnosed, checked and fixed a leaky shower. Very fairly priced, £124 for call out, materials and a good hours work. I’m delighted.
    • I've looked up previous media coverage and gather that the school warned pupils of the risk of police 'fines' for assembly under the extant Covid regulations.  Don't you think they might have felt it a duty, to both pupils and parents, to do so?
    • I'm glad that Barry's have posted.  Their mention of the merger soon led me to (a) bushy-tailed  PR guff about the new member joining the inpost 'family' and promising a bright happy world of lockers etc ahead. and (b) clear signs that the same problems related here seem to have been current and widespread even three months ago.  That's just from looking at one thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/vinted/comments/1nlv3u2/yodelinpost_merger_issues/
    • @first mate not aware of any either. Found this relating to 23-24..  https://services.southwark.gov.uk/southwark-creates/funding/cultural-celebrations-fund?chapter=4
