PeckhamRose
Good for you! But beware of some on here who aren't used to actually complaining to the right people and prefer this site as their home to whinge. if you actually ANSWER their concerns they won't know what to do with themselves! Nero
I think you will find that the majority of people on here will let you know about stuff like vandalism, grafitti, riding bikes on pavements, parking problems etc. If you can do anything to clear up these problems, you'll be dong a good job. ED is safe although - naturally - crime does happen. It would be> good if you could give us an idea of your role and> what kind of incidences you would like us to> report on, to help with your role.> > Thanks for your time. The role of the SNT is to provide a ward based police prescence. We deal with most non urgent crimes such as graffitti and damage to cars. These incidents are reported to police in the normal way and are fed down to us to deal with. We also deal with proactive issues on the ward such as addresses being used to deal or supply drugs. This information is always useful to us, but also if you are a victim of crime it should always be reported so that it at the very least can be used for intelligence purposes Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8050-local-police-safer-neighbourhood-teams-here-to-help/#findComment-252048 Share on other sites
police
Green Goose Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Are you the guys in the red day-glo jackets? No we are certainly not, as mentioned above they are the council wardens and are employed by Southwark to carryout patrols and deal with such problems as litter and dumped cars. We are teams of one police sergeant and two - four police constables. we are also supported by between 2 and 5 police community support officers who are dressed in blue shirts.
