My nana, who is 89 in November, wants a very simple mobile phone, mainly to receive calls but sometimes to make them. She is not interested in texting or camera etc.

If you have any ideas of which model would suffice, I'd be grateful.

(I've seen those Big Button phones but they cost ?100, which I think is too dear.)

I invested in a big button phone for my elderly sister and she is delighted with it. It is expensive but it has all that is required by the older user.

Ps dont for get to remind gran that she has to always

dial the code as well as the number,

I had to explain that to my sister.

How is Nanna, does she hear well & is quite with it, my nan was at the same age. She knew everything about sport as well. God I miss her ?

A simple Sony Ericson or a Nokia will suffice.

Don't be put of by cost, get the right phone & make everyone chip in.

89 not out, come on Nanna go for the century.

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
