Don't listen to these fools. If you want a des res show home then look no further than Forest Hill. The local's are from a far superior stock than east Dulwich and you wont have to put up with the smell either.

The views are to die for as well.

I reckon the gruesome black tarmac drive they've chucked-down without a thought must knock at least another ?50k off the asking.

Bargain. Handy for the launderette too.

"I reckon the gruesome black tarmac drive they've chucked-down without a thought must knock at least another ?50k off the asking."

You wouldn't encounter that sort of carry-on in se23 *Bob*. If you did then the perpetrators would be asked tp leave, or flogged.

Although Declan and Mick Mac would immediately fall under suspicion for laying tarmac that turns out to have the consistency of cookie dough just because they're bog Irish reprobates who'd most probably fleece an old lady of 5k for a cowboy effort.

I'd rather insist that they spent a stint in the stocks. Not have the flesh flayed from their backs like what used to happen to micks in the good old days.

"Whenever any property maintenance was required, my elderly neighbour (at a previous address) would often talk of 'getting an Irishman in'."

How times have and will change eh *Bob*. When we're eating pea soup through a straw and we need a ramp fitted we'll more than likely summon the services of a Pole or other 'east european type'.

Most people know the gypsy tarmac boys come from the South, so you can restrict edit that comment to just Declan, oh or anyone from Dublin or Cork too.

Barclays shares or Rip van Winkle - both guaranteed to double your money pdq. With Rip you could have your money by Saturday tea time, so that's the favoured option.

Million quid cash, that's one fat mattress.

Oh and watch Daizie she has very high & published hygiene standards ( lay cable in her loo & you're out)

Do you pick your nose ?

Turney Road area has some gaffs in that price range go see the agent in the village next to the bank " Harvey Wheeler"

Do you ride a bike ?

What colour cords do you wear on Sunday ?

Do you shop at Cordings ?

All these are important questions you know, afterall I know a few people with a million quid cash that I wouldn't want living anywhere near me.

W**F

Well thanks you all for your posts, the good, the bad and the down right hillarious.

It was worth the post. I will take in all your advice. Not sure who this Snorky is, but i guess

he was someone who used to post on the forum.

Anyway thanks again, will be having a good look,as soon as i have some free time.

Hi Sophiesofa,

I wasn't joking, as you know the cost of living in London is so high, i don't belive a million is that much anymore.

It was in the 70's and maybe the early 80's. But now to live like a millionaire you probably need ?5 Million. Scary thought really, but as i'm sure you are aware a decent night out in London, is going to cost you probably a couple of hundred pound.

    • Which is exactly why Rayner had to go - don't be the sleaze attack dog and then not keep your own house in order - the really shocking fact is she didn't go the moment this came to light because she knew what advice, and the advice to seek proper tax expertise that was given to her in writing by the very people she was trying to throw under the bus - she clearly thought she might be able to spin her way out of it. When you look at the facts, the advice she was given and when and her behaviour in the last few days it has been scandalous and just shows the contempt for the public intelligence some politicians have. Interesting to see a very unscientific vox pop on BBC News last night but a lot of her own constituents seem to want rid of her as well and to be honest if you have to lose your cabinet role for this breach of the rules then you should probably lose your seat too. That is the hypocrisy here and why a lot of people don't like politicians because they're all the same.
    • Hi all, I’m after a stereo amp in working condition. Not necessarily anything fancy, as long as it works. Thanks
    • You are missing my point, there are a few here who are rabidly anti Labour.  And have lost sight of the many scandals associated with their party.  I've not made excuses for Rayner, rather I am inferring that it is hypocritical to go on about one of the major parties whilst ignoring your own dirty washing.   You are not making sense.  I expect half the country likes a drink and a sizeable number likes a vape.  What is your point?
    • If you read the article posted above, it is all very carefully worded. However I've found this: https://uknip.co.uk/news/uk/uk-news/peckham-rye-park-attack-man-seriously-injured-august-2025/
