MrsSeychelles
HelloI'm organising my daughters combined first birthday party and naming ceremony celebration. I have left it to the last minute and am desperately seeking venue recommendations.I am hoping about 25 adults will make it with around 15 children, ranging from 8 to babies, a few drinks, food and some entertainment for the kids (which I am happy to arrange separately)Any ideas gratefully received. Thank you Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/83132-first-birthday-party-venue-recommendations-please/ Share on other sites
CocoC
We had a terrific party at the Albrighton Centre on Dog Kennel Hill. They supplied a soft play and we booked a music man (Frog Prince, he's on Fbook) and got food from M&S and wine from Majestic. Was a great afternoon. Toklas
We used the St Paul's church hall next to Ruskin Park. Only thing is it's a consecrated building so they don't allow booze, but we didn't want any anyway. pandrns
we used the shed at Herne Hill tavern in November last year - they left us to use the space however we wanted and even supplied us with a waiter. acb2013
I did a similar thing for my partner's 40th, about 40 adults & 20 kids from 0-7yrs, hired the Francis Peak centre in Dulwich Park which was about ?25-30/hr. Then ordered party food from M&S, booze & soft drinks from Sainsburys, hired soft play equipment from Tippie Toes and took along iPhone & speakers for music. Everyone happy!
