Government to scrap childcare vouchers scheme - petition

It was announced at the Labour Party Conference that the Government intends to scrap the current "salary sacrifice" childcare voucher schemes (in order to provide up to ten hours a week of free childcare for two year olds from low-income families):

If it's from 2011 it's pretty unlikely to happen isn't it? Unless Labour get in again - ahem. But too right I'll sign that petition. This is the only thing I've claimed off the Government IN MY LIFE - so we must be due for something.

Doea anyone know what the Tories are pledging with regards childcare and all things family-ish?

Vouchers save us a very important ?150 a month.Do not want to see them go! :(

if you already get the vouchers i think you keep them but new mums n' dads will miss out
