I have had these and they are excellent. Not been anywhere near one this year.

Maybe it's fresh lemon or orange instead of candied peel. Will try the Blackbird ones soon.

60 pence each seems reasonable. The ones from Violet Cakes in East London are ?3 each, and from Bread Ahead at Borough Market ?2.50. Haven't tried the last two yet. Saw some teeny tiny ones at Bambuni that were ?1 each.

Tomskip I used 0800 138 9081 then option 3 The first person I spoke to didn't know anything about it but when I rang a second time the person I spoke to had to download something to give me access to it. It has been planned for ages and was supposed to start today but there are no signposts up yet. There is another separate school street which covers Etherow street and Friern Road between Goodrich Road and Lordship Lane.
