jim_the_chin
Just had a weird call from what sounded like kids saying I needed to go to the coop and collect a lost parcel - went down there and no such person or facility. Didn't ask for info just seemed to want me out of the house. se22cat
That is very suspicious - you would always get a text and alert from Amazon first, they would never call you about a delivery - only if you had requested a callback about a service/refund issue. This area is getting targetted way too often lately, did their number show up on your call records? Would be worth reporting it to the Police imho. Penguin68
You won't get a text if the parcel is being sent to you as a gift. The purchaser might, but the person receiving the gift won't, as Amazon will only have delivery address details. But they should try to deliver first. It doesn't seem quite kosher to me. jim_the_chin
Yes, same Mr Roberts name, having said Mr Cameron first, it sounded so amateur, wouldn't say who parcel was for or what it was, said it was a lost one, never asked for my name or any personal details. Number with-held. Mindless prank? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/86950-fake-amazon-call-co-op-east-dulwich/#findComment-938509 Share on other sites
Jules-and-Boo
maybe, but coupled with the number of posts about burglaries it could be more.
