Cracked iphone screen - and now?

Stupid me threw iphone 5 onto the pavement.

Screen cracked, but phone still working.

Shall i have it replaced? And how much would that roughly be?

And: where would l go to have it fixed?

The cheapest place is the ex-corner shop near to ED station, I think. I had my screen replaced for ?25 and was happy with the result.

I got a quote today of 79 in Ismash - thought it was a bit much! Really want to get this fixed aswell.

Is the place near ED station at the same side of the road?

Actually, Apple Store will assess the damage done by the cracked screen. Sometime they can simply replace the screen (circa ?120 if my memory serves me correctly), sometimes the fault runs too far and it is irreparable. In these instances you'll have to pay for a new handset (yikes!) Unfortunately we had the latter happen last year but were able to go through our insurance for a new handset. We've since put one of those "super-idiot proof" cases on which will supposedly stop it from happening again.

Sarp is the name of the shop near the station. As you come out of the station turn right and the shop is next to the tyre shop.

Sarp quoted me ?55 a few weeks ago for an iPhone 5C screen. Got it done in Peckham, place opposite the station there for ?45.
