Do you need some time to do Christmas Shopping without the Kids?

Dulwich Village Kids Club is an After School and Holiday Club at Dulwich Village Infants School. We are located in the Francis Building on Turney Road.

On Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd December we are having a Christmas Holiday Club. The children are invited for breakfast from 8:00am, they will have time to play before we leave for the park at around 9:30. While we are there we will play, get muddy and have a snack. When we come back we will do some Christmas Crafts and an indoor picnic. The children will have time for more play. Dinner will be served around 5pm and home time is at 6:00.

The children will need to bring a packed lunch and clothes suitable to play outside in the mud.

Please have a look at out websiste and the attached leaflet. We are registered with Ofsted and out staff are DBS Checked and are Paedriatic First Aid Trained.

The cost of the club is ?35 a day and ?30 for sibblings.

We hope you can make it.

Happy Christmas

Just wanted to give another shout out for The Bear at the Albany. Absolutely lovely production - very funny and touching too. Also children's theatre is so expensive so I think it's wonderful that Albany tickets are quite reasonable - 10 pounds for adults and 8 for children. The layout is also a really good introduction for children -

They can sit with their parents or there is lots of floor space and mats at the front which is a great way for them to be up close to the action (and the very gentle audience interaction moments).

Go! And make it your New Years resolution to support this terrific venue!

    • I would leave London, or at a push move back to north London. In SE London if you want to get away in a car you are trapped, always an hour to go the first 10 miles, chugging up to the M4 or round the south circular, which is really just a line someone drew connecting a load of roads. and I know there are trains but first you have to get to those mainline stations, unless you only want to leave London to go to Kent. which I don't.
    • It was you who  made it personal in the first place,  Jazzer. You said you didn't feel safe in the streets,  and you said you didn't go to Central London because you didn't feel safe there. So are you now saying that wasn't "personal"? "Fire from the hip." Another interesting choice of words 🙄 I'm not "demanding" anything! I asked you some perfectly reasonable questions in  response to your own statements. None of which you have answered. Never mind. It seems to be pointless having a discussion with you. It's long past my bedtime. I'm going to turn on my sleep app  and go to sleep 😴💤
    • Hi Forumites, This afternoon someone in a dark blue/black saloon car collided with my parked car on Thompson Road, SE22 9JR. I have a neighbour’s doorbell cam footage of the collision at 14:30 19/09/2025 but am unable to identify the registration plate. If anyone has footage of a car travelling down Thompson Road towards Crystal Palace Road at that time please PM me. Of course if the Perp would like to confess they can also PM me. Thankyou.
