curlykaren
asked in the east dulwich medical centre a couple of days ago, to see if I should get my son (11 mths) vaccinated. they told me they are currently only doing 'at risk' groups, which doesn't include children/babies. ludoscotts
I think it will start being offered to under 5's after christmas in london once the at risk groups are done. Said on local news this was expected to be after christmas very early jan. lorraineliyanage
The only negative thing I've heard is that the vaccine contains mercury (thiomersal) which has been removed from children's immunisations. I believe the nasal spray version of the H1N1 vaccine is mercury-free but I don't know if that is available or even recommended for children.
