No post since Christmas - near Overhill Road

The Royal Mail have axed some postal deliveries in and around the Lordship Lane Estate since Christmas week after a postman was assaulted. Residents can collect post from the delivery office in Silvester Road Mon, Tues, Thurs-Sat 10am-1pm and Weds 10am-8pm.

So I went to the sorting office today and was handed 1 lonely letter dated 6th January 2016.

I wonder where all my other letters are that I'm expecting over the last 2 weeks.

The postman behind the counter looked blankly at me when I asked. He confirmed that that our postman had been assaulted....sad state of affairs.

I live on the Lordship Lane Estate and have had to go to the Sorting Office every 2-3 days but what I was expecting before 2015has not materialised. Are we allowed any compensation at all

From what I've been told which is unconfirmed, the postman had a knife held to him on Lordship Lane Estate's Bew Court, he then lost his balance and cracked his head open from the fall.

The post that people are missing was probably stolen by the a**ehole that attacked the postman.

I picked up my post from Silvester Road during that period, so today's post was sent after Jan 13th.

We're missing at least five parcels sent between 28th December and 14th January, on Lordship Lane. Anyone else having similar issues?

Yes and they just gave me a claim form for a missing item.

I think it's best to call the customer service line and get an official case number. I did this and my parcels were found...
