Do they have coffee creams? If so I might go in and buy a few, if only to piss off the usual moaners on this thread. -
Trains just getting worse? What can we do?

4 buses an hour is overnight when Brixton tube isn't open anyway. You're notorious for saying that anything that isn't a tube is rubbish, and for demanding stuff that actually already exists (secure bike parking at Peckham Rye, a regular bus from east Dulwich to Brixton...). You've made it clear you won't be happy until there's a tube station close (but not too close!) to your front door, regardless of how many trains and buses and cycle routes there are - but if a tube is that critical to you, why did you come or stay in east Dulwich? -

Don't worry, Brexit is going to fix the problem of East Dulwich workers wanting to commute into the City for work :( "I've totally lost interest in the Bakerloo extension " Why? A regular bus to a Bakerloo station on OKR would solve a lot of problems and would be easy-ish to introduce. -

Why are you in favour? I'm neither for nor against, I'm just wondering why you have a preference. -

Petition for reasonable rents from Dulwich Estates

LondonMix Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Saying that Dulwich Estate should be maximising > their revenue better with the pubs is no kind of > argument for why the toy shop deserves below > market rents. Its a total non-sequitur. It's not a non sequitur. In fact, it sequits closely. It shows very clearl that the Dulwich Estate is absolutely rubbish at maximising market rents in the reality that they're given when two huge pubs that could be turning a profit for both landlord and lessee are almost derelict. I find it incredible that you're swallowing the charity line - this is an entity that owns a huge swathe of south east London and yet is managing to pay the school fees of a handful of kids. There's a lot more private landlords that are putting their kids through private school and own far less land than Dulwich Estate! -
It's written on the side. I passed the infamous van this morning. The crates were empty apart from the occasional carrot top. It didn't stink. I've never noticed it stinking before. I've never seen meat in it before. OP could always WTFU/MTFU and call/write to the owner. Something stinks on this thread and I'm not convinced it's the van.

Meat production is also hugely carbon-emitting.

I walk past that truck frequently and never noticed the smell. Always wondered what it was doing in this neck of the woods. I just assumed it was a labourer who was driving it home at the end of shifts

An assumption they buy poor quality meat from mistreated animals is just an assumption they operate in the same way in most restaurants...
