  1. The legal risk of having a personal video camera pointed at your own car or bike is practically zero, surely?
  2. Sorry to say that locking wheel nuts have always been bobbins. What a nightmare.
  3. Can't you report it online ? An electronic break in that results in just change being stolen doesn't sound right.
  4. He was in hospital for six days after being arrested? Blimey. Was he injured before, during or after arrest?
  5. uncleglen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > And there was an illegal rave or something in > London where petrol bombs were being thrown The "petrol bomb" line was classic Met misinformation bollocks. They fed the line to the media as "a suspected petrol bomb was reportedly thrown", and then issued a release that said "a reported petrol bomb". There was no photo or video of such a thing, the Met did not formally claim one was thrown and there was only ever one spoke of. But the target audience for the misinformation inferred exactly what they wanted you to infer - that there was an urban battle between police and anarchists where the sky was lit by the light of a thousand Molotovs - rather than cops using a few arseholes as an excuse to beat people with batons at an unlicensed disco.
  6. If she's a myth, you might need to complain to the Director of Spiritual Realm, not Director of Public Realm. Or maybe the Rubbish Faerie.
  7. 1) Gatwick 2) LCY 3) Luton 4) Heathrow 5) Southend 6) Biggin Hill ... 482) Stansted
  8. Also, throw some fruit or veg in there too, you'll die of scurvy
  9. I just sent myself a PM calling myself a gentrifier. I've reported myself to the mods, the police and the rockers. gillandjoe Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Would you have had the 'balls' to call me a jerk to my face, > Londonmix? What are you going to do, throw their latte over their labradoodle? "Jerk" sounds like an okay description.
  10. No, no, no, I have no time for that, I want quick, cheap and visually striking solutions that will work overnight
  11. I was just there. It's great. Do you know where you want to go?

Have you picked up the phone to complain to their office? Have you called the council? What was the response?
  14. Ahahahahahahaha!!! BRILLIANT! Maybe there's a sophisticated group of Pontefract burglars surveilling East Dulwich and being so infosec-conscious that they only communicate with each other by marking their targets' bins with felt tip with a secret code consisting of...the house number.
  15. Fridges contain refrigerants that are huge greenhouse gases - incredibly damaging. They need to disposed of (and the gases captured and recycled) by licensed waste disposal people. Giving them (or letting them be taken) by some guy with a Tranny wouldn't fly for me.
  16. The petition you linked to doesn't suggest the library is going to be closed. It says the council might allow a gym to be put in. Tbh it's confusing if you don't explain exactly what the proposal is and how it would affect library service.

  20. The National Speed Limit is 60mph or 70mph. http://m.askthe.police.uk/content/Q594.htm?viewsinglecontentelementid=35858

But they do, and it radically reduces consumption - unless you think English people are going to react wildly different from Welsh and Scottish people
  22. Hi Unfortunately I don't have any direct experience of mobile mechanics. If you're sure it's the battery then the AA or RAC will mbring thr battery to you and fit it (which is not complicated) for the cost of the battery + 35 quid or so. Alternatively you could just take a bus or cab to halfords, bring it back and fit it yourself.
