Where can I donate some toys

I've had a pre christmas clear out and have got some nice toys suitable for a baby/toddler which i would like to give to a local playgroup or womens refuge (or that type of thing). Anyone got any local suggestions?

most of the hospitals will take toys. either on the chidlrnes wards or the antenatl clinic or any where children might be waiting for appointments. Health visitors will also know of any women who may have no recourse to public funds and could use your toys.

There was announcements in Sainsbury's today that they are collecting toys for a charity - didn't pay too much attention as have none yet but I think it was a childrens charity of some sort.

I heard that in Sainsburys too - it was for Woman's refuge. They were asking for small toys for woman to give to their kids for xmas.
