Got my baby sister to stay at the moment....anyways to cut a long story short, she has a skin tag on the edge of her eyelid (in the position of where you might get a stye). Question is, does anyone have any ideas how to remove it?

We've tried tying it up with cotton but we are finding it too tricky.

Many GPs do this kind of thing in-house...if not, they can refer you.

Sterilize a small pair of nail clippers, the type that has a lever on the top.

Hold a cube of ice to the eyelash first this will slow the circulation and stop any pain.

It will bleed as soon as it's been nipped off, so be prepared with something clean soft and absorbant.

Have a drink, you've earned it.

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
