Hoping Wales have enough left to put up a fight against Aus - looked out at the end of last night.

If England win with no bonus points then a losing bonus point for Wales might be enough to knock Australia out.

Not seen anywhere asking for tickets. I think quite a lot of the local pubs are showing it. Flying Pig is, I know, pretty sure also EDT, Actress, Cherry Tree. Haven't been out in a while to watch a game though, where is the best place to watch in the opinion of other EDFers?

Australia were as impressive as England appeared confused (with their selections). This was a tough group but with home advantage England should be in the q/finals. A lot has obviously gone wrong and fast tracking a League convert seems silly. I wonder who was picking the team? Farrell?

As for the winners I wonder if New Zealand will suffer from not having had a real test in the pool. If Australia continue with this form it could be them. Ireland are progressing nicely and have a great coach, so who knows. France are always unpredictable and it's about time they won it. They might lose to Ireland next week and beat the AB's in the quarters. They owe them one.

As for making the draw for groups so far in advance, if anyone should complain it's Fiji. They have been a pleasure to watch and would have qualified in a different group.

I don't know who owes who one - France beat the ABs in the quarters in 2007 and are the ABs bogey team.

I'd imagine the whole of wales was up in arms about that decision (at the time of the recent rules change), but I'd say few would disagree with it now - thankfully lifting tackles have been pretty much stamped out of the game.

And Ireland lost the quarter final to Wales because Wales were better.

England, hmm - got that wrong. Not sure DCs were great earners either though.

I have Australia to win at 8/1 from the start and they look good, also have added Wales just as they ate >25/1 seems long.

(update for Wal-Aus)

Hooper Cited for charging and found guilty - 1 week out.

Folau is an injury doubt

Horne is an injury doubt

All Welsh players OK - as long as they get over seeing

the ghost of Henry VIII in the hotel (think they were

tired) :)

South African last night said he reckoned they'll chuck the USA match to avoid the all blacks

until the final (where he said, they'll choke). Don't think they can though as they'll fail

to qualify but I couldn't resist.

Are you sure you haven't already :)

Looked like nothing - but a Tier 2 team.

Tier 1 teams are getting away with stuff.

Not really right - the management of those teams must feel demoralised..

Wales team out today for Australia match.

Tipuric and Warburton, George North in the center, Anscombe full back.

No Gethin (hurts us in the loose) but helps in the Scrum.

Looks like they might be taking on Australia at their own game.

Hope Gatland knows what he's doing (he should :) )

I like Madigan and maybe playing against the Puma's may be perfect for him. What Sexton does is almost based on playing the good percentages. What Madigan does could surprise everyone, including himself. He's talented. If Ireland do win I would want Sexton playing @ 100% in the semis which wouldn't happen if he played tomorrow obviously.

    • I’m not sure how many other people have experienced this; but both me and one of my friends have the same story. Around Crawthew Grove and Crystal Palace Road: I was followed by a large fox right on my heel. At first I didn’t notice because I had my headphones on, but then I noticed my shadow had an extra lump in it, funnily enough, it was a fox, very very close to my feet. Even if I sped up walking it just tried to get closer - it was quite frightening actually, it was quite clear that it wanted to nip me. I didn’t know what to do so, I started to reprimand the fox and walked slowly away from it, facing it - which it didn’t seem to like and backed off a bit. I then proceeded to speed-walk away.   Quite frankly, the whole situation was quite embarrassing and a little bit frightful as I’d never had a fox even come up to me. I’ve heard of particularly curious foxes that might come up to someone who beckons them, and maybe even bite that person, but I’ve never heard of a fox chasing someone. The amount of confidence that it had was incredible.    When it happened, I was on the way to see some friends, and once I had told one of them, she told me the same thing happened to her.  if anyone else knows anything about this bitey fox then let me know!
    • Another recommendation for Andy. I needed an old kitchen removed as an emergency. Andy came over quickly and did a fantastic job. I have used Andy a few times. He is punctual, helpful and always does an  excellent job.
