Louisa - we might disagree on this but a question anyway...

Now that the Plough has changed do you think Le Moulin will see more customers as people can now have a drink in the pub before/after a meal - ie it has become an area where you don't have to travel to just for a meal?

Just a thought. Same applies to Omrith and the FHT I guess

i still wouldn;t go in the fht - scares me . omrith is great though, but does need more customers to prevent the friendly waiter talking to you ALL the way through your meal.

Sean I think that if the Plough has attracted a different sort of drinker, it may well attract people into Le Moulin for a meal after. But having said that, a lot of these younger people are not keen on a place if it doesnt fit the image or look like it gets a new coat of paint ever other week. We shall have to wait and see I think. Eric and Margaret would probably appreciate the new customer base, I know that they have taken on board a lot of what I told them about some of the comments on here. I would hate for them to change though, it's as if time stands still when I go in there.

I agree about not wanting to see Le Moulin change. The way I describe it to people is I feel like I'm on holiday somewhere

Bet they will be chuffed to hear about the Chardon mixup as well

Well done susyp have been following this thread for a long time found it very hard to believe your original discription of service at le moulin have been going there befor Eric and Margret owned it always good, every time at Chardon bad experience welcome to the forum
