I've upgraded 1 laptop and 2 PCs in the last two weeks and have had no issues whatsoever but I would say:

1) Run the Windows 7 upgrade advisor

2) If you have Itunes, it may say uninstall it but all you have to do is de-authorise the computer, install Windows 7, then re-authorise it

3) It takes a while, mine all took between 3 - 6 hours each but after the initial 15 minutes you can leave it to do its own stuff. I left mine running overnight.

You may have to tweak a couple of things at first (pinning things to the start menu/task bar but it's worth spending 10 minutes after the install watching the what's new in Windows 7 video.

Good luck

    • Please be aware that there is a huge sheet of ice approx 12ft x 6ft on the road at the top end of Avondale Rise on the left hand side approaching Ivanhoe Road.  The council was told earlier this morning, but advised that, due to a reduced service, it is unlikely that grit /salt will be spread before Monday!  Several (thankfully minor) accidents have happened since this morning.  A resident has thoughtfully erected a temporary sign to advise traffic of the hazard, but bearing in mind that temperatures are due to fall to -4 over the weekend and this is on a bus route, please be very careful if driving on this road.
    • Paul was great for us - came round at an ungodly hour of the day at short notice to fix a problem. Very nice bloke too
