I have resisted this now for most of the day. I was hoping someone else would raise this. But I can't hold it in any longer.

Today one of my all time heroes (and possibly the sexiest presenter on TV other than Philip Schofield), bowed out from his BBC breakfast show, hosting for the final time. For 15 brilliant years I have been religiously glued to the TV with my cup of rosey, specifically waiting for this lovely man to come on air and gently pull me out of my morning coma.

Bill I for one will miss you greatly. A fine presenter and kind man, the BBC Breakfast stint will not be the same without you. Happy retirement!

Louisa.

    • Why it a strange first post Sue?  We all have to start somewhere! These kids have created a situation where they have been very unpleasant. Surely their physical appearance etc is a key factor in identifying them?  I don’t understand. Are you defending these kids?
    • I can do the research but are more people watching cricket on TV now it went to the higher bidder or in 05 when it was on Channel 4?  I think that less kids are into cricket since it went off terrestrial.  I suppose I should have had TMS on.
    • Great finish to today, true Test cricket. India had the chance to kill it off a couple of times, but Carse and Tongue looked far better than I was expecting in a Test situation over the last few days. Still hoping for Jofra and Woody to be back for a couple games each.  PGC, do you reckon this 'Anderson -Tendulkar' series could make Tests a bit more interesting to the wider word? There's still Birmingham, north London, Manchester and south London to go. It's never going to be 'The Ashes', but as a five game series, I genuinely think this might get people a bit more involved.
    • LOL.   Lazy ass people who choose to litter!!!!   Really greenery does not cause anti social behaviour.   But I gotta say thanks for the giggle. You are so on point.   How can we work as a collective to make "The establishment move forward".   Net 0 is coming in fast.   And the only way forward is for everyone to work together
