skylorikeet
I want to buy a beautiful cake to take as a gift for someone who doesn't eat dairy. Any ideas? I found an old thread that had lots of suggestions for gluten-free but not dairy-free.Thank you Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/96077-anywhere-selling-dairy-free-cakes-in-ed/ Share on other sites

Laddy Muck
I'm not entirely sure whether this place comes under ED or Peckham. Certainly it's on the ED end of Rye Lane: Puzzle Organico. I didn't see big cakes but I did see a variety of individual dairy free cakes. I was there with 2 vegans and another and we all left quite satisfied. The shop/mini cafe also sells vegan choccies, biccies and other vegan treats like halva. skylorikeet
I got some great chocolate brownies from A Peace of Cake. They went down very well with the recipient who said they were delicious. antantant
I know it's less exciting but I get stuff from the Sainsbury's "Freefrom" section for my dairy allergic son.http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop/gb/groceries/food-cupboard/bakery-172214-44#langId=44&storeId=10151&catalogId=10122&categoryId=172214&parent_category_rn=12422&top_category=12422&pageSize=30&orderBy=FAVOURITES_FIRST&searchTerm=&beginIndex=0Probably don't fit the "beautiful" bill though!
