Hello

We have a 3 month old baby who is now sleeping in her cotbed in her own room. We have a few trips to make in the next few months and wondered if anyone could recommend a good travelcot that's not too heavy and expensive? I'd like her to get used to it by sleeping in it a few times at home first (or am I being over careful?!)

Thanks

L

We use this one now (wish we had from the start) http://www.thatcuteage.com/p1347-Sun-Essentials-UV-Travel-Centre--Cot. It isn't cheap but very portable and she hasn't outgrown it yet (and she's quite tall) so it would have been good value for money if we had got one straightaway.

Just noticied it's for 6 months to 4 years so perhaps your little one isn't quite ready for it yet. Worth bearing in mind if perhaps you go for a temporary solution first however.

    • But people getting up for work or if they’re a carer having to get up after a few hours sleep would know it’s gone 11pm as they’re kept awake by selfish people!
    • I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!

    • Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
