Country walks

Having walked the dog many times in the local parks and Dulwich woods, am planning on travelling further afield this weekend for a nice park/woodland walk.

Can anyone recommend places within 30-45 mins drive of ED?

We love Knole Park at Sevenoaks but maybe it is 45-50 mins away.

Lullingstone Country Park

Just off the A225 - Castle Road, Eynsford

Nice riverside walks, cafe on site.

I heartily recommend the Time Out book (s) of walks - all within an hour of London and all with an excellent pub lunch in the middle

Some good walking around Downe e.g. Cuckoo Wood, and southern side of Downe Bank, where Darwin used to go walking. It's a doggie paradise, but not busy, and the pub in the village is decent too.
