Am planning on doing a walk with the family this weekend.

Will be with a baby/buggy and plan to go to Crystal Palace via Cox's walk, off the Sth Circular.

Probably stopping at the Woodhouse or Westow House for food / booze, then back via College Road, into the Village.

Planning on doing about 6 miles.....

Has anyone done this walk, or one similar, will Cox's walk be suitable for the buggy..........

Idea on other pubs to stop in? Other routes?

Any tips?

Cox's walk should be fine for a buggy at the moment - was there this morning and it's nice and dry. You might have to lift over a couple of places but generally fine. Just make sure you take the left turn towards Sydenham Hill rather than go through the gate into Sydenham Hill Woods, which would be hard work with a buggy.

It's a smooth gravelled path up to the entrance to Sydenham Hill Woods, where you turn left over the railway bridge and up another reasonable path to Sydenham Hill. Perfectly doable I'd say when it's as dry as now - you can look at each end of the path from Streetview or online. We pass plenty of buggies when we walk that way and nobody seems to be having much trouble.

    • Seconded. Called this morning after reading this recommendation. He sent Andy round who diagnosed, checked and fixed a leaky shower. Very fairly priced, £124 for call out, materials and a good hours work. I’m delighted.
    • I've looked up previous media coverage and gather that the school warned pupils of the risk of police 'fines' for assembly under the extant Covid regulations.  Don't you think they might have felt it a duty, to both pupils and parents, to do so?
    • I'm glad that Barry's have posted.  Their mention of the merger soon led me to (a) bushy-tailed  PR guff about the new member joining the inpost 'family' and promising a bright happy world of lockers etc ahead. and (b) clear signs that the same problems related here seem to have been current and widespread even three months ago.  That's just from looking at one thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/vinted/comments/1nlv3u2/yodelinpost_merger_issues/
