Cracked the second one.


To be honest, the first one was overdone when it arrived too. Half hard yolk and half still just runny.


I know these are little gripes, but at ?4.50 it's the little things that have to be perfect every time.

I never at any time suggested that ?1.50 for a bun in a cafe was expensive..


Although the price differential with gettin 12 buns for the same price might suggest so..


.. But the Brick House is a Bakery and equipped to make them in bulk as required.. and may not be any better than

those bought from a supermarket..


You are easily annoyed...

I'm not defending either, just some use a pre made mix and others don't


Ayres are less expensive


Home made are great, if you have the will

Quite. So comparing with Ayres or Blackbirds would be fair enough. Not with Asda or Morrisons.

In 1919 or somewhere close to that they discovered/dug up the Kohi Nor diamond


Last year in 2015 they dug up a bigger one, at the same mine


The EDF is much like that mine, it just takes patience and a lot of digging

Who eats only one Hot X bun at a time?

Nobody, so why not produce a double XX Hot Cross Bun. Twice the size, more like a bap, in this super sized society it would be a winner

If I were to advise them in a marketing capacity, I'd say set up different business/personal accounts

I don't follow them on Twitter because I don't care for too much social media as previously stated. I just love their food. They have the most amazing buttery sausage rolls around.

I don't eat Buns Hot crossed.. Iced... Whatever..... I dont eat Donuts... Cakes... Scones.... Bagels.... White bread..

      We live in a half house on Pellatt road and did a loft conversion a few years ago. No complaints at all! The walls on the adjoining side (the side where you share the front door) is a bit thinner than a typical Victorian home so we can hear our neighbours going up and down the stairs but otherwise it’s good.

      Have you been back to Dugard & Daughters and discussed it with them yet? What was their response and reaction? There are other butchers to choose from. I've used the same one (not the one you mention) for probably 9-10 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Always get well looked after.

      Jump into Lewisham, just the other side of Woodvale is the "Horniman Heights" with a mix of semi's and larger Victorian houses. Probably safer and quieter than perhaps where you are and have been looking.  And no need to blow £2m.

      As a resident in this part I would agree, with the proviso that it's quite hilly so not ideal cycling territory for the frailer or very much younger. Obviously good access to the South Circular, now virtually the only east: west route open after LTN closures. Only one blue plaque - C S Forester. Most houses are Victorian or Edwardian with some slightly earlier. Generally 4-6 Bedrooms depending on attic conversions.
