look, the point is, f u c k the present cpt management for getting rid of a good thing. the others have put it much better than I ever will, but in a c r a p room. I have no issues with anyone (hugs, really?).

Whats admin goin to do, muver feckin admin = f u c k sigs

Rather than everyone cry Admin I'd rather get two sentences from CC that made sense even if it were tomorrow. I don't understand half of what you are trying to say CC so I challange you to do it in a way most people will understand. If not don't expect any support for what appears to be simply abuse.

really, it's a bit late to concentrate.

there's a crap quiz at the pub. I mean, it really is, but Martin and Lesley put a feck load of effort into it, and to be hoenset, it is not going to better by getting somebody else in (despite my protests, it is many ways, the best quiz in the area coz it's a proper challenge), the pub are feckin up by getting rid of it.

More than happy, and whilst I may think its crap (coz its hard) may don't. started the thread because I'm angry, sure others can make a better argument, and I'll be more than happy to let them. not speaking on behalf of martin or lesley, just me. and i'm pissed off by it. more than happy to be responsible for what i've said, does anybody really have problem?

    • Not sure what you mean by "involved with firework enjoyment"? I'm all for others enjoying themselves, and I like fireworks, but if they were limited to public displays then people could still enjoy them? Having said that, I see that tickets for the London New Year fireworks start at £20 (Dawson's Heights it is,  then!) The fireworks in Brockwell Park used to be free. I don't know why those don't happen any more?
    • Really interesting discussion here. It's difficult to respect the views of people who support Farage, Trump, Musk etc. Why should we, when their views are deplorable. But then that exact 'deplorable' label, as we know, is counterproductive and drives people to double down / switch off to more progressive views. How do you actually help change minds? We're currently spiralling into dark places culturally and politically imo. The amount of open racism, even amongst front line politicians here and in the US is astounding to me. Feels like we're going backwards. The influence of social media and the tech billionaires / bros, is a powerful and largely malignant one. There was an enlightening (and frightening) bit of journalism by Sky this week about Musk's influence on British politics. He has a strange obsession with the UK and London in particular (as do many on the US right wing): https://news.sky.com/story/the-x-effect-how-elon-musk-is-boosting-the-british-right-13464487
    • Looking for any tickets to the Dulwich Hamlets game against St Albans today!
    • I'm going to Paris with friends, staying in the 3rd arrondissement. I used to go a lot but that was ages ago so wondered if anyone has any 'insider tips'? We are interested in small art galleries, independent shops, good value cafes and restaurants that may not feature in all the many online articles or guides, thanks!
