messageCurry Club - Tuesday 11 December 2018 - Mirash
Posted by Michael Palaeologus 03 January, 2008 11:43

OK - I know we are all on a collective diet and/or are having a dry January... but lets go for a curry. You can have a tikka if you are on a diet and drink diet coke if you are off the booze.

How about next week? Tues, Wed or Thurs. What is a good day for people?

What's the next venue?

Venue? Dont know. We had an informal gathering at the Mirash prior to Xmas.

We could try the Pistachio Club but I think that as, as usual, we are always open to other ideas.

Have you decided on a day or has this club gone underground?

No day decided yet Jimbo - people seem to be thinking about it!

If it happens next week on Tues, Wed or Thurs I will tag along if thatís ok? I will even disrupt my Jan detox for a Kingfisher.

I'm considering taking my week-day detox offline* for this as well - at the moment it's a Tuesday only available for me

Good news, was waiting for this to come up since Mrs Citizen would like to come along. I'll do the honourable thing and sneak out for a quick pint when the kids are tucked up in bed...(edit) stay home all evening to babysit the sproglets.

I'd love to but can't because I am working, but would be happy to join you another time if you decide to do it again.
Which I am sure you shall.
Have fun!

Has anyone booked a table at the Curry Cabin for Tuesday?

messageRe: Curry Club
Posted by Michael Palaeologus 07 January, 2008 08:53

No. It is difficult to know what the precise numbers will be, some people find that they cannot make it after all and some people pop along on spec.

Given that it is a Tuesday the general concensus was that booking a table would not be necessary as they were unlikely to be busy.

Unless anybody thinks differently?

Looks like 9 or 10 at the moment.

messageRe: Curry Club
Posted by SeanMacGabhann 07 January, 2008 09:03

as it's the Curry Cabin - shouldn't we meet somewhere closer to it - say Franklins or Liqourice?

messageRe: Curry Club
Posted by Brendan 07 January, 2008 09:22

Hey guys. I canít make this one. Iím detoxing after what was probably the most over indulgent Christmas and New Years period I have ever had. I have decided not to go out at all until Feb. Pity as I have always wanted to try the Curry Cabin. I guess I will just have to find another excuse to go.

messageRe: Curry Club
Posted by georgia 07 January, 2008 09:29

Brendan - come along and have a diet coke...

Shall we meet in Franklins instead then at 7.30? (Saves me walking to the EDT!)

messageRe: Curry Club
Posted by mockney piers 07 January, 2008 09:53

I'm doing likewise Brendan, so I'll be avoiding the cobras and sticking to the lassis
