Is there an automatic photo booth thing anywhere local please?

Sainsbury’s DKH and Morrison’s in Peckham have booths.

Be careful on the option you choose if space underneath the bottom of your chin and above top of your head is quite specific for certain countries.

Forest Hill Road used to take pass port photo's, don't know if that continued when the new tenants took over running the post office there, or otherwise try Krystals on Nunhead Lane/Evelina Road

you can take them with your phone if you apply online - the app checks the photo before you submit so you're guaranteed they will be accepted.

Hi

Unf FH PO has changed management and no longer takes passport photos. Snappy snaps in Peckham does photos for £9.99 and will check for you that they are compliant on the Gov website. They also send you a digital photo for on-line applications. I noticed that there is also a passport photo booth in the Aylesham Centre arcade £6 (complaint photos- accepted or refund apparently!)

+1 for Snappy Snaps if you really need physical prints.

For actual UK passport applications, you can take them yourself, against a plain white wall, with a digital camera or phone. The passport application website will automatically crop/recentre the picture for you.

In snappy snaps you get 4 photos, they get passport checked on the spot, you also get a digital copy by email and a unique number so that you can apply for your passport online, you type the code in and it's done.
