Ant
Where on earth is everyone? It's been dead quiet here this weekend. Don't tell me you've all gone off and got a social life at the same time.Anyone?
dulwichmum
Mr Ant,No, I am still here. I have no social life, and am officially a (sob) 'rugby widow', although quite why he had to leave the house at 10.00 am this morning for a match that didn't kick off until 3.00 pm didn't really make sense to me. Being a trophy wife is not all it is cracked up to be.The most excitement I have had all day was cleaning my diamonds in a big glass of Gordons Gin! Ant
Was he watching it down the pub? Somehow I suspect he's more of a corporate-box type of chap. But a 10am start in order to nab a good spot in the boozer is not unheard of. Perhaps a tad extreme though.
Ko
I think everyone, me included, has been enjoying the glorious sunshine this weekend.B) Dulwich park was overrun today - the number of people made it seem more like a hot August day and there were big queues at both ice creams vans. Those ice cream vans give you a good insight into the manners of Dulwich children. Once I was in a very long queue in the park for a lolly and when a dad asked his adorable darling which ice cream she wanted, she replied "All of them!" - I kid you not!I even went in the garden and started doing my spring pruning today. Good weather also forecast for next week - hurrah!
Ant
I was there too, Ko. Along with everyone else from miles around, it seems. To be honest, it was all a bit much for me. I just wanted a quiet, relaxing walk. Instead I got caught up in crowdaggeddon at the swings.
dulwichmum
Dear Mr Ant,He was in a box or some kind of corporate area, with a reserved seat and free alcohol, so no reason to get there early as far as I can see. He is not home yet either, who won - does anyone know?
Ant
This might explain why he's not back yet.

dulwichmum
Thank you Ant and Ko. James is Welsh, so I dount he would celebrate if anyone other than the Welsh ever won the rugby. I think he is not home yet because the beer is free.

malumbu
Pressed the wrong link and came to the earliest thread on this site. If we ever think EDF is dull nowadays see how awful it was then! Are any of the original posters still around to defend this view. PS this is a facetious post so don't get on your high horses.
