Yeah, could be, was funny though that they were there then blocked up, thanks :)
  7. Does anyone know why the holes in the new kingfisher bank have been filled in?
  8. I agree with DJKQ and First Mate. I think dog fouling needs to be dealt with, not by banning dogs or keeping them on lead, onlead dogs poo too, the owners who don't pick up should be punished, dogs should be kept on lead on streets, estates, but not parks. Dogs need to be allowed to run free and play and interact with other dogs or they'll go stir crazy. I think the dog license should be brought back and the revenue from it should pay for dog trainers/wardens to teach people responsible dog ownership. Anyone buying a dog should have to attend training classes and do the Good Citizen thing by the Kennel club, basic common sense, which some dog owners don't have unfortunately.

SteveT you say you are against the above, but you want dogs in a fenced off area, so that surely means ALL dogs?

I don't own a 4x4 don't presume things about me, you don't know me and I don't want the park flooded with schoolkids, if Harris can afford to do up these academys then he should have the money to build them a play area. I like seeing children out with there parents after school, playing football, using the facilities i.e the skatepark and the adventure playground, but I don't want the park used as a school playground and I don't hark on about things, I have my opinions which I am entitled to, so don't be so rude.
  19. This is going to be discussed at the next FOPRP meeting I think. We were assured at meetings in the past, that the park would not be used for the school kids. It is a park not a schools playground/playing field.
  20. That was a Boxer called Monty? I think, he has a long tail, if I see him in the park, I will tell him, thats very nice of you :))

If you had them side by side they are very different, I think that when they get too big, they grow to the size of a dinner plate, people "set them free" in ponds cos they can't cope anymore.
