Once we are in this time machine it will also mean smoking in pubs, casual sexism , no internet or forum and my youth - all aboard for 1979 ! http://codytaylor.org/images/apple/apple-computers-personal-computer-1979.jpg
  3. Can I make a plea for the five pound pint please - it will make divvying up rounds real easy. 4 pints - 20 squid please. None of this ?4-35 nonsense.
  4. The consensus seems to be that the school and Miss Zoe come out well on this and the OP might consider her initial outburst to be misplaced. It is only right that defenders of the school have their views heard in the interests of balance. http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2010/263/3/e/ballet_animation_for_gaia_sis_by_quitebubbly-d2z5qfd.gif
  5. Two Mr Whippy's please - with sprinkles and chocolate on top...

    Accupuncture

Yes a lot a long time ago from Giles when he was at ED Therapy Rooms - it's very relaxing 'me' time and he is a very good listener so hard to say - like a lot of alternative therapies it's probably more placebo than science - but can highly recommend him nevertheless. 15 Barry Rd, London SE22 07739 414210 [email protected]
  8. Ok who will do a test purchase I suggest along the lines of; "Excuse me do you have an organic elderflower sorbet," "No mate - just what's on the list" "Oh you really ought to expand your product range you know - sorbets are all the rage - this is East Dulwich you know - the new Notting Hill" "Eff off - either buy summat or p*ss off". "Ok - 2 Es and an eight of weed please" "Now you're talking - 40 squids" Buy them and note the number of the van and then either spend the rest of the night off your t?ts loving the fact that a new door to door service has come to your notice and spend all night posting pointless non-sequiters on the EDF OR Ring Crimewatch and keep the contraband in a sealed baggie whilst waiting for plod. http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4035/4432339516_e6320e52b5.jpg
  9. fuzzyboots I am greeting you in Cornish - as a grockle I used to regularly holiday with friends in Cambourne and after a few pints of excellent cornish ale would indulge in banter with the locals and would raise our glasses to the Cornish Nationalists with the cry of Anghof - whatever that means.
  10. A COUPLE OF E'S AND AN EIGHT OF WEED PLEASE !! http://www.fakefaces.co.uk/images/lookalikes/past-appearances/fullsize/1436-FRANK_ICE_VAN.JPG 32 Episode Six Ed McCardie David Threlfall 13 February 2007 Frank agrees to work on Shane's ice cream van - the Maguires use it as a cover for dealing and Frank's got E's on tap! However, there's trouble brewing with an angry mob. Meanwhile, Carl wants his family back together and that means getting rid of Norma - for good. The Maguire's take drastic measures to drive a wedge between Karen and Jamie. Kelly Ball returns to Chatsworth, and PC Carrie Rogers continues to antagonise the residents of Chatsworth, especially the Gallaghers.
  11. Introduce a ?10 fee to see your GP - exemptions for the usual suspects - may help to raise revenue and reduce waiting times.

  13. Some of us remember the Richard Roger's vision for Peckham back in 1990 which was going to transform the area http://www.cnplus.co.uk/news/16feb90-uk-flaxyard-submits-peckham-pomp-proposals/1689408.article
  14. Shagged his secretary over his minsiterial desk - class act !
  15. Aplogies wrong Miss Zoe http://southlondondancestudios.co.uk/images/Teachers-1.jpg Miss Zoe trained as a dancer and dance teacher (ISTD & IDTA) in the West Midlands. She was also an active member of a local theatre group, a gymnast and singer. Planning on going to university Miss Zoe took a year out and became represented by a top London dance agent. It was not long before she moved to London having been offered her first performing job; a featured ensemble role in the Royal National Theatre's production of 'Oklahoma!? directed by Sir Trevor Nunn. The show was a great success going into the West End and being made into a film. Miss Zoe went on to perform in other London based and touring musicals before deciding to train in acting at LAMDA. Whilst working as an actress in TV and theatre, Miss Zoe wanted to teach dance again and decided to open Grafton Dance Academy in Dulwich with the aim of creating a dance school that catered for all abilities; ensuring that those children talented enough to consider a career as a dancer would have an excellent foundation training (both technically and artistically) and those students attending classes purely as a hobby could achieve their personal best in a supportive and fun environment. This ethos has been successful and the school ? becoming South London Dance Studios and securing its own premises in 2009 ? now has well over 600 happy and successful students.
  16. I've not vilified her just appreciate she is a driven artist whose core values may alienate 'lesser mortals' - I think and hope I understand and appreciate both points of view. Some maybe inspired to want their kids to join the school others may not - one thing is for sure the school will continue to prosper under Miss Zoe.

  18. Am considering ED again - having looked at somne 2 bed flats in ED - difficult to get the place out of your bones - it drags you back into its frappucino stained paw - kicking and screaming into the refurbed CPT.
  19. Miss Zoe isn't as I imagined her .... http://www.centrestagedance.org/media/images/miss-zoe.jpg
  20. I had a music teacher at school who was a bit mental - slamming down the piano lid and screaming your flat flat at the top of his voice when practising stuff. The classical arts tends to attract perfectionists and martinettes possibly because the art is so precise and complex that a lesser approach wouldn't be able to bring it off. Miss Zoe would I think be pretty much par for the course - she lives breathes and would die for her gels and anything less than fanatical devotion to the art is treated with disdain. I think you're definately better off out of there if that's not what you want.
  21. Bring back the ED gentleman who would post up his typewritten missives all over the ED massive - sadly he may have passed on as I haven't seen any for a while. I used to write some of the answers to VC's letters as my job - rule one if you're writing to HMG and you are just a lone voice then don't bother or if you must do it through your MP as you will get a minsterial reply rather than a treat official. The record was a 32 pager of rambling non sequiters and random capitalisation ending with Get a grip Mr Cameron and where my sanity was sadly lost...
  22. Good for you - ballet doesnh't come without some health risks - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_risks_of_professional_dance
  23. Jxxxxxxxxxxxxx Hide Details FROM: Zoe Dawson - SLDS TO: [email protected] Message flagged Tuesday, February 28, 2012 12:32 PM Dear Mrs xxxxxx, The teachers and staff are absolutely astounded by your very last minute decision for Jxxxxxx to pull out of the Presentation at the weekend with no reason given. It is an absolute disgrace to let down the entire team as you did. Although you have already given notice of leaving, if you did wish Jxxxxxx to continue or return to classes at SLDS at any point, please take this as notice that she would not be welcome to under any circumstances. It is your decision as to whether Jxxxxxx continues classes until the end of this term as you have paid the fees, but if she does attend classes, please note that I do not wish to have any communication with you. Miss Zoe Zoe Dawson Principal South London Dance Studios 130 Herne Hill, London, SE24 9QL 020 7978 8624 www.southlondondancestudios.co.uk
  24. The price to pay for living in the new Notting Hill I'm afraid.
