  2. Live and let pie!
  3. Hmm, sounds a bit dodgy, one for the real SW fans. I think George Lucas had something to do with the story line though, it's set between episodes 3 and 4. I think the unskippable cut scene is the nail in the coffin for me, I hate when they do that! Hadn't touched my wii for ages, but a couple of weeks ago I took a sicky one day, and finished No more heroes. Really really enjoyed it, very bizarre, and some great fights towards the end!
  4. I'd imagine the dressings will live on, just as Linda McCartney lives on through pies.
  5. Yeah man, I felt like a winner I can tell you!

  8. An ex of mine took a running penalty kick at my face (I was sitting on the floor) and busted my nose open leaving a scar that is still visable. We stayed together a further 4 years! Feckin scousers!
  9. So it's all down to the drink, I bloody knew it!
  10. Anyone played the new starwars game? Have heard interesting things about it.
  11. I know you're being tongue in cheek, but it has made me want to say the drivers in my experience have always been really nice, and embarassed about the mistakes. Don't shoot the messenger, they're just delivering a van load of stuff, they didn't load the bags in the van.

    Thought she was your sister!!!
  13. Sainsbury's delivery service is fecking shite! We've tried it 4 times, and only one delivery was correct. The final straw was when we were having my parents and sister round for a special dinner (already stressful enough), and they totally messed up the order. To be fair they put it right in the end, but that's not really the point, and it took several phone calls from me, and it was only sorted because I happened to be home that afternoon. Another major issue is the amount of bags they use! We've had big orders come, and about 2 or 3 items per bag, it's ludicrous! Apparently Tesco do a bagless delivery where they will bring it in to your house in crates and unload it for you. Going to try them or Ocado next time.

Nice to hear you speak for all the residents, but judging by the previous threads about these people, I'm not too sure that you're spot on. Oh, and I do know a thing or two about being a resident of the area, the road in fact.

They're not that bad if you're in to that kind of thing. I got dragged to see them by a metal head friend, and was actually quite impressed. Bit heavy for me, but awesome drummer!
  16. Not doubting anyone on here, but I walk up and down that road all the time and have never had a peep out of these people. Anyway, glad the residents are happy now, and glad they've been moved to pastures new. Feel slightly sorry for the next resident of the property, as I think they'll struggle to meet the approval of some of their neighbours whoever they are!
  17. Well That's The Wire finished for me. Last series good as ever, but far from my favourite (3 and 4 get that prize). To be honest I thought it could have done with at least another hour to tie it all up, it just felt a bit rushed at the end. That said, it's still the absolute nuts, and a couple of really good bonus featurettes too.
  18. So did you watch a scary film then? I had a couple of cans and watched Match of the Day, was quite a nice change actually. Friday wasn't a forum drinks, but there were a few forumites at the plough for open mic night.
  19. Very gracious of you LadyG, and yes, I think we'll be seeing that goal in the goal of the season short list! Came from nowhere and totally unstoppable! Hope you still have a nice Sunday!
  20. Sandperson, I remember being at a derby match at Anfield some years back, and there were 2 Everton fans in the kop sticking out like a sore thumb. Everton won 1-0, and they stood and cheered the goal, and I remember being really suprised how friendly the banter was. You wouldn't get that at a Glasgow derby! ;-)
  21. No. Was going to go out, but after last night I decided it was a bad plan!
  22. Color of money, 80s classic!

  24. All you doubters who thought the pool would lose today. Tsk! Apparently this is our best start to a prem season. Worrying, because we're still not top! :-S
  25. Jah it looks like we have a date in the pub sir!
