    Petty Annoyances

I'm with you on this one Moos. So many times I've wanted to shout at some lazy cow for holding up my journey, only to realise that my arguement is somewhat weakened by my own use of the lift. But to go one floor, Come On!
  2. Like I said, I don't sign she's the worst actress out there, just a bit of a cocky cow. What annoys me is that she would be far far more attractive if she was at least a stone heavier. Some women are naturally bone thin, she doesn't look like one of them, don't know why she wants to be that thin!
  3. Not sure she's killed thousands, but fair enough.
  4. Quite right and fair. (although I do want kids, and piss-ups ;-) ). RE: The whole free / less thing, I'm with Brendan, I just don't get why people worry about this sort of thing at all!

I do think Keira Knightly is a good actress, but has a really annoying self assurance about her that I find off putting. Thought both acresses playing Briony Tallis were very good, and amazingly cast in terms of looks (actually there were 3 playing her if you include Redgave at the end, but I mean the younger 2). I did think it was visually stunning, particularly the Dunkirk bit, what a set! Basically though I found myself just getting in to it as it was ending. Wanted the story to go somewhere else. All in all a decent watch, and well done, but I guess it just wasn't really my thing. Lovefilm now sending me No Country for Old Men which I'm really looking forward to seeing.
  6. Absofeckinglutely! 2 sticklers for grammar spelling on here, Asset & PGC don't get nasty (as I think we've said quite recently), if anything with those 2, it has become part of their "characters" in my head, and I almost get disappointed iof one of them doesn't bite at a misplaced apostrophe. What bugs me is when a person makes a point and is then dismissed because they missed out a comma, so obviously their point was a load of rubbish. That's is just bloody rude! For my part, I probably make mistakes, but don't think I'm too bad. The your / you're thing is one that does bug me, but can't quite get riled up about it.

  10. This is the problem, people who don't want kids don't get what all the fuss is about. People who have kids just don't understand how someone could not want it. I want kids, but I know I am going to have to make changes to my lifestyle, and I admit I'm not entirely happy about it!
  11. A poke in your eye for being so sly!

  13. Well of course it is, that's not really anyone's fault. What's your point though?
  14. You may be right, but I think that is, at least in part, simply because men don't have breasts (well moobs maybe, but not useful ones), so in the early stages mum is going to busy (assuming she wants to breast feed).
  15. Well she is a tidy one.
  16. Aw, happy birthday to our favourite pixie type peson!!! :)-D

    I like the idea too.
  18. Agree strongly with Brendan. The Mag isn't going to please everyone, but don't worry aboput negative stuff, especially when someone has just blatantly had a go for a rise. Mike made what I consider to be a positive critisism, which I think is useful. There have also been plenty of positive comments about the place. I am yet to try it, as it was closed when I pushed the door. I will however ne popping in, and look forward to it.
  19. I saw that Sean MacGabbann from the East Dulwich Forum drinking in The Plough last week. He's dead famous!

  21. What Jeremy said! Would much rather just order a dish that I know I'm going to like, and enjoy that.
  22. It makes me laugh when you order an own brand product, and they send you an alternative which is about ?10 more! Also when you order a 2 for 1 offer, and it's out of stock, so they send you 2 alternatives and charge for both!
  23. Not really a cafe though ;-)
